On 10 th January 2008 former England International footballer and Tottenham Hotspur captain Steve Perryman formally opened the superb new offices of Cardens Residential and Students @Cardens, in Longbrook Street, ideally located in Exeter city centre, just a short walk from the brand new Princesshay shopping centre. Having started up in business from offices in the same street almost seventeen years ago, director Jon Carden was understandably delighted to return to the companies’ “spiritual home”, as he commented” Having been forced into more moves than would have been ideal due to Cardens growth and the redevelopment of the city centre, these state of the art premises are amongst the finest in the city and already have seen significant growth in business levels. Over 150 guests attended the opening function, with the Cardens staff serving drinks and entertaining their guests and the Cardens children serving the canapes: a great night was had by all!
